Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey embodies a rich heritage dating back to the winter of 1881, when Albert Bacon Blanton began his journey in bourbon history. Starting as an office boy at the distillery at just sixteen, Blanton quickly became a driving force in bourbon's development. By the time he became company president in 1921, he had overseen significant expansion, transforming the distillery into the largest of its time with 144 buildings.

During his tenure, Colonel Blanton reserved a select supply of bourbon his private reserve carefully chosen and stored in Warehouse H, now renowned. Although he passed away in 1959, his legacy endures. Introduced in 1984, Blanton’s namesake bourbon became the first commercially sold Single Barrel Bourbon. This pioneering spirit continues to define Blanton's, making it a true original in the world of bourbon.
