Made with 100% organic blue agave, farmed organically by hand—free of pesticides, herbicides, and chemicals—by Alvaro Montes and his son Marco, those little details make all the difference. Farming completely free of chemicals, the Montes family knows that pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides can affect the flavor when they roast the agaves. All weeds are pulled by hand, then left to decay and turned into compost for organic fertilizer. The Extra Añejo is aged for 3 years in oak.
