Maestros Mezcaleros, Gregorio Velasco, and Rodolfo Hernandez create Pierde Almas Tepeztate. This Mezcal is produced from 100% wild agave Tepextate, which matures over a period of up to 25 years. The maximum alcohol by volume (ABV) permitted in Mexico is 55 percent. With tastes of chocolate, bananas, and pumpkin pie, this Mezcal is quite complex. The high alcohol concentration contributes to a lengthy viscous finish.
