As the third oldest continuously operating distillery in the world, Buffalo Trace Distillery traces its origins back to 1773, a time when Kentucky was a wild, untamed frontier and the United States was still a nascent idea. Throughout the centuries, the distillery has changed hands many times, yet it has always remained a cornerstone for crafting authentic American whiskey.

At the dawn of the new millennium, the distillery embarked on another transformative journey, drawing inspiration from its rich history. In a tribute to W.L. Weller, the distillation team set aside some of the first whiskeys of the 2000s to create a remarkable innovation.

Weller Millennium is a blend of vintage straight bourbon and wheat whiskeys distilled in 2000, 2003, 2005, and 2006. The wheat in the blend imparts a soft, smooth, and sweet character, making the whiskey more approachable. By marrying these exceptional spirits, the resulting whiskey harmonizes into a cohesive and balanced final product that is greater than the sum of its parts.
